ShadeTree Building Vision!!!

People right here in our own backyard of East Texas are not just hungry for FOOD on Saturdays, they are hungry for the HOPE and CHANGE that only a relationship with JESUS can bring to them!

We are currently able to offer only 1 consistent service and meal to the hurting population at Shade Tree in Longview,TX – the Weekly Jesus Burger Event on Saturdays. The needs of the community that we minister to however, are far more extensive. Our desire and mission is to intentionally walk people beyond a lifestyle of “Entitlement” and into a position of “Empowerment” in Christ Jesus!

Yes, at Jesus Burger we are meeting people right where they are and intentionally making disciples beneath that grand old ShadeTree, but we are limited to how much we can do without a dry, climate controlled environment. We desire to minister to the whole person and walk them into a committed relationship with Christ Jesus and delivered from a poverty mentality and spirit. The result will be a healthier and more whole person and community! Every individual is important to our Lord and to us!

The 18,000 sf Shadetree building and 10 acre property was supernaturally gifted to us after we laid our hands on the building and claimed it for the cause of Christ in the summer of 2014. We have preliminary remodeling plans for phase 1 that include a ministry area, dining hall and commercial kitchen. Phase 1 construction needs are approximately $200,000.

The marginalized populations of East Texas need your help in Jesus name. We at Shade Tree need your partnership! As you choose to step forward together in this work with us, God will be with all of us every step of the way!
